Workshops
TableMusic offer composition, performance and improvisation workshops, often as a concert/workshop package.
Sessions are designed for specific settings and the group share a wealth of experience as educators in university, secondary and primary school contexts.
Aside from her university portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate performance seminars and workshops Ruth has run sessions on performance skills, ensemble coaching, performance psychology and improvisation across the UK at secondary school and university level. A senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she also holds a PGCE in 16+ education, has examined for the ABRSM, and given CPD sessions in performance for EPTA.
Mandhira’s involvement with the Ligeti quartet has included residences at Sheffield and Cambridge universities, working with undergraduate and postgraduate composers, in addition to outreach workshops in London primary schools (for London Music Masters) and supporting composition courses run at Benslow by Simon Bainbridge and Peter Maxwell Davies.
Natalie has co-led composition workshops at Brunel university and the London College of Contemporary music, plus workshops in school and other educational contexts with the Killian string quartet across England and Northern Ireland.
